It was in 2007 when RSM Academy was founded by Jean Stephens, the Chief Executive Officer of RSM International.  RSM Academy was designed for junior partners, senior managers and directors in audit, tax and consulting for them to network with peers from other member firms and to improve international technical and managerial skills.  The first batch of RT & Co. partners sent to the academy were AVO, JCB, WSG, CBM, and WT.


One of the main objectives of RSM Academy is to contribute to the success of internationally active organizations. During the 5-day course, delegates were able to draw on international links and capabilities and form relationships within the network for the benefit of RSM's international clients.


The 2016 RSM Academy was held last June 19 - 24 at NH Koningshof in Veldhoven, The Netherlands. 57 delegates from different countries worked on a case study specifically about tendering audit, tax and corporate finance services to a global prospect client.  It was a learning experience worth sharing to my RT & Co. colleagues.
